UHS Announces New Appointment System – CALL FIRST

Good News! Effective January 26, 2009 the department of General Medicine at University Health Services announces its new CallFirst appointment program. This system will allow us to serve you better, decreasing lines and waiting times.

Appointments by phone:

Call 617-287-5660. We will book you an appointment the same day if needed, or on a future date and time that is more convenient for you. If you have an urgent problem and need special arrangements for care, a health care provider will help to arrange for an appropriate evaluation.  Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to best ensure you will be seen on time. If you need to cancel your appointment please do so early so another student can be seen!

Making an Appointment in person:

If you choose not to use phone scheduling, you may also come directly to the department to make an appointment. You will be offered any same-day appointments that are available or the next available appointment. If you have an urgent issue please let our staff know, and a health care provider will speak with you to evaluate your needs. If you need to cancel your appointment please do so early so another student can be seen!
